Part-time Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team in a busy dental office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and assisting in the delivery of dental services. If you have a passion for delivering high-quality care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.

This job is part-time, looking for a dental hygienist to work 1-3 days/week (day of the week is negotiable).


Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough patient exams, including dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health recommendations

- Document patient medical and dental records accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic, adhering to strict infection control protocols

- Take vital signs and monitor patients' overall health

- Utilize dental software, specifically Dentrix, to manage patient records and schedule appointments

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience

- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in general dentistry and medical terminology


Skills:

- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and protocols

- Experience working in a dental clinic or office environment

- Ability to quickly learn dental software, specifically Dentrix

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with medical terminology

- Strong commitment to infection control and patient safety

- Ability to take vital signs accurately


License/Certification:
  • Registered Dental Hygienist license (Required)

Dental Assistant (Full or Part-time)


Join our growing medium-sized practice with a focus on providing state-of-the-art personalized care to our patients and their families. A full-time position is currently available with the following hours:


  • 7:45-5:15 Mondays-Thursdays
  • 8:45-5:15 Fridays

**There is an option to work Monday-Thursday and be off on Fridays.


Duties and responsibilities


- Assist in all aspects of general dentistry including: restorative, periodontal, endodontic, and implant procedures as well as oral surgery.

- Input treatment plan given by the doctor into Dentrix for the patient

- Manage sterilization procedures.

- X-ray certification required with competence in digital radiography


The assistant must have knowledge of dental procedures, x-ray certification, OSHA regulations, and State Board requirements.
